Blackened Garlic Green Beans

Green beans sauteed in olive oil with garlic, salt, and pepper. This is an easy healthy side dish that everyone will enjoy.

Blackened Garlic Green Beans

12 ounces green beans, ends trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces (about 4 C)
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

    1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    2. Add green beans to the skillet and sprinkle the spices over the beans.
    3. Saute for 10-12 minutes, until green beans begin to blacken.
    4. Serve hot.
